HELLBASTARD/DRESDEN split 12" to be released on November 13th
Legendary crust punks Hellbastard have teamed up with profane Midwestern metalpunx Dresden to commit a few more sins to wax. The inaugural release for brand-new record label, Unleash Hell Records (helmed by Bitty of Wartorn and Dredsen) will be entombed in 12" wax, and be limited to 100 copies on split black & blue vinyl available through www.ildistro.com. The release will include a digital download card, and officially drops on November 13, 2012.
Hellbastard are one of the most important and influential punk rock bands to ever emerge from England's blighted shores, coining the term "crust punk" and raising hell from sea to shining sea since the Eighties. Their metallicized, politicized punk anthems and accusations have been throwing up two fingers to the system since day one, and Scruff & the boys show no signs of stopping. Their side of the split features three brand-new songs, as virulent, fast, and ugly as their fans and enemies have come to expect, and was recorded at Pitchfork Rebellion Studios by Laine-Pearce-Rees, with mixing/mastering handled by Ajeet Gill at Hellfire Studios.

New E.P. out soon!
It's been a long time coming, but the "Sons Of Bitches" EP will finally be released via Patac Records in the U.S. and SelfMadeGod in Europe sometime in the Fall...three songs off of this EP are also going be featured on the 12" split with Dresden via Profane Existence Records. "A History of a Time to Come" U.K. thrash documentary featuring HELLBASTARD
The makers of the documentary "A History Of A Time To Come", based on the history of the U.K. thrash movement, have begun editing the film. The filmmakers wrapped production last month and has just started the editing process at Prime Studios in Leeds. Commented director Joshua Callis-Smith: "It's a great feeling to be finally in the edit looking over everything we've shot over the last year, during the process all the interviews and 80+ hours of footage will be pulled together to create what is effectively the film. The aim is to have a rough cut within the next two weeks so we can really start to play about with the structure and graphics we want to put in the film."

HELLBASTARD not Playing Obscene Extreme Fest, Czech Republic, 2012
Due to contractual issues, HELLBASTARD will not be performing at this year's Obscene Extreme Fest, Czech Republic. The band hope to appear at the festival in 2013 instead.
