HELLBASTARD WEBSITE NEWS AUGUST 2008 NEW BASSPLAYER His name is Gianluca. As you can guess he is of Italian descent. So,.anybody that messes with us now can expect to wake up with a horses' head in their bed. Nah man, only joking like....but the mafioso may be around to pay yer gran a quick visit if you try it on, like. Gian has played in many bands and has a good attitude. We are chuffed anyway. NEW ALBUM - "THE NEED TO KILL,...Rage Murder, Revenge & Retaliations...." Sounding awesome,.....at this rough mix stage (August 2008),...we are well impressed with the work the engineer/producer ( Mr Ajeet Gill) has done so far. His studio,..."HELLFIRE STUDIOS" can be found on myspace and they have an official website too. If you are SERIOUS about your SOUND, then HELLFIRE is the place to visit. Seriously.
October 4th - MELTDOWN FEST, MIDLANDS. UK (16 bands) December 6th THE DOME , LONDON with EXTREME NOISE TERROR and a lot more besides.........

HELLBASTARD NEWS july/august 2008 The new album,.... "THE NEED TO KILL, RAGE MURDER, REVENGE & RETALIATIONS" has been recorded at the notorious "HELLFIRE 2" Studios In Birmingham, uk. Produced and engineered by AJEET GILL,.....the studio owner and GRAND MASTER OF ALL THINGS HEAVY..... The production value is SECOND-TO-NONE,.we could never have dreamt that HELLBASTARD would end up having such a PRODUCTION,.and this is going by the early ROUGH MIXES we have heard......... A very, very special sound indeed ! Expect the album in STORES on the MELTDOWN RECORDS label nearing the end of the year....... HELLBASTARD also shot a video to be included on the new album,.the track chosen was a revamped old "classic" from the 1988 "HEADING FOR INTERNAL DARKNESS" album,....."PYLONS",... EXPECT NOTHING BUT CRUSHINGLY HEAVY MOLTEN PSEUDO-ECO WARPIG HARDCORE METAL ! Other news HELLBASTARD have been booked to appear on an EXTREME METAL PROGRAMME on SKY T.V. The band will film TWO TRACKS in a studio (undisclosed at present) and they will be interviewed for the programme itself. This all takes place a few days before the massive MELTDOWN FEST in BIRMINGHAM on OCOTBER 4th 2008 where among 16 other bands, HELLBASTARD co-headline with avante-garde doomers "TAINT". The
lads are remarkably optimistic.
